Lynda Jasper-Vogel : Lynda Jasper-Vogel  •  mixed media sculptor
For the past 15 years I have worked with images of the Sacred Feminine or Mother Goddess. In the 1990’s while living in California, my passion was creating large ceramic figures depicting ancient or atavistic goddess images symbolically reflecting contemporary concerns. Now that I have moved to Taos, I find myself fascinated with the “embodiment of the sacred feminine” found in images of the Madonna.  I am currently working on a series called "The Madonna Project". The Madonna figures are encased in antiqued wall shrines, their faces and hands are sculpted and cast and the figure is costumed and embellished with antique fabrics, beads and found objects that have been recycled into antique jewels. Each one represents a different aspect of the Madonna. I have also created a fabulous collection of mythological characters including “Day of the Dead” jesters.

Lynda has been a successful artist in New Mexico and California for the last 40 years. Her work includes, ceramic sculpture, 2 dimensional art, enshrined Madonna’s, crosses and mythological characters as well as “Day of the Dead” jesters.

Landscapes are my inspiration. I use color to invoke a mood and express the magical qualities brought on by the northern New Mexico light. In my graphic work; black, white and tones of gray express the motion and emotion felt in nature.

Nancy Lay : Nancy Lay • Acrylic paintings, Works on paper, Collage, Digital Collage
In my work, whether collages or paintings, I seek to emphasize the complexity of Nature. Knowledge is our reward when we look past the superficial. Each leaf, flower, insect and animal is a testimony of its life on Earth, and stands as a symbol of the greater degree of understanding that is available to us.

Suzanne Lovelace : Suzanne Lovelace •  beading
My unique designs are filled with colors that I see in the patterns and fabrics all around me. Texture, color and shape are a way to create an harmonious design, my goal when making a piece of jewelry. It is a good feeling to be doing what I love.
Every piece I create carries positive karma.
